Visual Update on Presentaiton


Added some extra flair to the text by using Godot's RichTextEffects. The title text now wobbles around a bit and enemies bounce in the background. Also when you finish a game, the score and highscore will also loop an animation to indicate your results.

I'm not too sure if this game will continue development, but if it does, here what I would like to see implemented in no particular order:

  • A "store" feature where you can store a move in limited slot(s) to be used later.
  • Enemies coming from the top/bottom should be slower than the sides to compensate for the limited screen size.
  • Screen should shake when you die
  • Incrementally progress high score through an limited skill tree
    • As you play, your hitting certain scores will give you skill points. You can spend these skill points on the tree to cater to your own playstyle
      • e.g. more slots for saving moves, faster movement, trash a move every X seconds, bomb to clear screen
  • Balance Incrementing spawn rates
